    I am an experienced reconstructive foot and ankle surgeon with areas of excellence, including arthroscopy of small joints, deformity correction by Ilizarov technique with circular external fixation, and diabetic limb salvage using cutting-edge orthoplastic management of wound defects. I am a regular faculty member and course chairman in the teaching of arthroscopy with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. I have written on innovative techniques and conduct ongoing research in needle-based arthroscopy to manage distal lower extremity pathology. I am a local and national leader in podiatric surgery, currently serving as division chair of podiatric surgery at Cambridge Health Alliance. I am the past president of the Massachusetts Foot and Ankle Society and current president of the Northeast division of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and soon to ascend to the division president.

    I am a regularly invited lecturer to the national annual scientific conference of the American College of Foot and Ankle surgeons, presenting many surgical interventions in foot and ankle care. I am frequently invited to lecture locally on similar subjects.
