Benjamin D. Cullen, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Cullen grew up in Chico, California. He received his Podiatric Medical Education at the California School of Podiatric Medicine and was then trained by some of the brightest leaders in foot and ankle surgery at Kaiser Hayward in Northern California. Dr. Cullen is Board Certified by ABFAS in Foot and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Cullen is a nationally recognized author, educator, and lecturer on the foot and ankle. He is active in ACFAS and participates in various committees that influence the educational goals of the organization.
Dr. Cullen is the Program Director at the Scripps Mercy Podiatric Surgery Residency Program. He is a past President of the San Diego Podiatric Medical Society, and is a past Section Chief for Podiatry at Scripps Mercy Hospital.

John S. Steinberg, DPM, FACFAS
Dr. John Steinberg is a Professor and full time faculty member in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington DC. He is Co-Director of the Center for Wound Healing at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital where his practice emphasizes multidisciplinary resident and student teaching. Dr. Steinberg is the Program Director for the MedStar Health Podiatric Surgery Residency Program and is also a faculty member for the Georgetown Diabetic Limb Salvage Research Fellowship. He is a Past President of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Steinberg is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in foot surgery as well as reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. Dr. Steinberg earned his BS degree in Biology and his DPM degree from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in 1995. Upon graduation, Dr. Steinberg entered a three-year surgical residency at the Inova Fairfax Podiatric Residency Program and then completed a one year Diabetic Foot / Limb Salvage Fellowship with the University of Texas in San Antonio. He was a member of the full time faculty at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio from 1999 to 2004 before returning to the Washington DC area. Dr. Steinberg recently published his first textbook entitled “Functional Limb Salvage: The Multidisciplinary Team Approach”. He has lectured extensively on diabetic limb salvage nationally and internationally, and is actively involved in clinical research and publication.

Dr. Dayton practices at Foot & Ankle Center of Iowa and Bunion Surgery Specialists. Dr. Dayton earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University and a Master of Science degree and doctor of podiatric medicine degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a residency at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Santa Clara, California. Noman A. Siddiqui, DPM, FACFAS
Noman A. Siddiqui, DPM, MHA, serves as Director of Podiatric Surgery at the International Center for Limb Lengthening and Chief of Podiatry at Sinai and Northwest Hospitals. He is a board-certified foot and ankle deformity correction surgeon who specializes in the treatment of foot, ankle and lower leg conditions in children and adults.
Dr. Siddiqui has been a pioneer in minimally invasive surgical methods for common and complex foot and ankle orthopedic conditions. Dr. Siddiqui has extensive training in Charcot foot deformity correction and circular external fixation for deformity correction and other complex foot and ankle disorders. He is also actively involved in resident training and focuses on continual education in the latest foot and ankle treatments.
Dr. Siddiqui attended Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago where he received a dual degree as a Doctor in Podiatric Medicine and a Masters in Health Administration. He completed his surgical residency training at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Bradley P. Abicht, DPM, FACFAS
Dr. Bradley P. Abicht, DPM, FACFAS is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon practicing for over a decade at Gundersen Health System (GHS) in La Crosse, WI. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and currently serves as department chair for the Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Department at Gundersen Health System. Dr. Abicht is actively involved in medical education, medical leadership, as well as research with regular publications in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks. Additionally, he serves on the editorial board for multiple journals. Brian G. Loder, DPM, FACFAS
Dr. Brian Loder is a Podiatrist in Clinton Township, Michigan. He is board-certified in foot and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. Dr. Loder was the first resident to advance to the inaugural third year of the program. Dr. Loder’s commitment to education earned him the role of Podiatric Residency Director at one of the neighboring hospitals, where Dr. Loder formed a new Podiatric Medicine and Surgery program.
Dr. Loder has always played a crucial role as a Physician leader at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township. Initially, he held an elected position on the credentials committee and was subsequently added to the quality committee. In 2012, Dr. Loder’s leadership qualities earned him a nomination as Chief of Staff at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. Dr. Loder won the nomination in a landslide and went on to serve four more years as chief of staff before he stepped down.
Dr Loder is a researcher and an innovator. He spends much of his time evaluating and improving current surgical trends and has been a leader in the evolving minimally invasive surgical space. He has authored multiple papers and continues to produce new research. Dr. Loder has lectured extensively in the United States and abroad and was named a co-chair of the GFAS (Global Foot and Ankle Symposium) held in Annecy, France, in March 2023.
Recently, Dr. Loder was granted conditional status by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery for his Fellowship in Minimally Invasive and reconstructive Foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Loder first Fellow will begin in August of 2024. Dr. Loder is exceptionally proud of his dedication to podiatric education and believes that it is essential for us all to make a positive impact in our profession and leave a lasting legacy when we are done.

Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, I attended medical school at Des Moines University graduating in 2010. Completed Residency at Florida Hospital East Orlando and went on to fellowship training for Advanced Foot and Ankle Reconstruction, with a focus on total ankle replacement, at Coordinated Health in eastern Pennsylvania. Currently in practice at Avera Orthopedics in Aberdeen, South Dakota focusing on adult and pediatric reconstruction. At my flagship hospital, Avera St. Lukes, I sit on the credentialling committee as Chairman, and I am very proud to be one of two physician members on the Avera St. Lukes board. Dr. Emily A. Cook is the program director and founder of the Mount Auburn Hospital Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency with added Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery in Cambridge, MA. Dr. Cook practices at Mount Auburn Hospital and is co-owner of Crimson Foot and Ankle Specialists. She is an Assistant Professor in Surgery at Harvard Medical School and adjunct faculty for every podiatric medical school nationally. Dr. Cook is triple board certified in foot and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery as well as in public health.
Following medical school where she graduated as valedictorian in San Francisco, CA, she spent five years of combined residency and fellowship training through the Harvard system in Boston, MA with an emphasis on reconstructive surgery, trauma and research. She has additional subspecialty training in research and health care quality through her MPH in Clinical Effectiveness granted through the Harvard School of Public Health. In addition, she has advanced training and certification in total ankle replacement, internal and external fixation, limb deformity correction, flaps, trauma, minimally invasive surgery and arthroscopy and is a member of the AO International Alumni Association.
Dr. Emily Cook holds a variety of additional leadership positions at many other local, regional and national positions. She has authored more than 50 publications, abstracts and posters along with numerous award winning manuscripts. She is a prominent national speaker for the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and has also received teaching awards at both Harvard Medical and Dental Schools.

Bryon J. McKenna, DPM FACFAS, D-ABFAS, is a fellowship trained Foot and Ankle Surgeon at Thibodaux Regional Health Systems in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Dane K. Wukich, MD
Dane K. Wukich MD has served as Professor and Chair of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dalla since 2016. He is a tenured professor and holds the Dr. Charles F. Gregory Distinguished Chair in Orthopaedic Surgery. Prior to arriving in Dallas, Dr. Wukich was Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh where he served as Chief of the Division of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Wukich received his undergraduate degree from Carnegie-Mellon University and his MD from Georgetown University. His post-graduate orthopaedic education includes two years as an orthopaedic preceptor in West Germany, residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Wukich has published more than 200 scientific articles and book chapters and served as co-editor of the book The Foot in Diabetes along with Professors Boulton and Rayman from the United Kingdom. Dr. Wukich has delivered hundreds of peer reviewed and invited lectures throughout the world and is a frequent invited speaker globally. He is the recipient of the American Diabetes Association Roger Pecoraro Award, The Paul Brand Award from Desert Foot, and the Lifetime Achievement Award from Georgetown University for his work in diabetes related foot and ankle complications. Currently, Dr. Wukich is President of the International Association of Diabetic Foot Surgeons. Dr. Graham Hamilton is a double Board-Certified Podiatric Foot and Ankle Surgeon with over 25 years of practice experience. He was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and considers the three greatest blessings in his life to have been given life, moved to the United States, and practiced medicine.
He performed a comprehensive residency in the 1990s, at the Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Santa Clara, California, with an emphasis on sports medicine, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, foot and ankle trauma, and diabetic limb salvage. He then joined Kaiser Permanente in Oakland California and was actively involved in resident education for almost two decades. His roles included research director and assistant residency director. During this time, he also spent 12 years teaching foot and ankle surgery as an adjunct clinical professor at the California School of Podiatric Medicine. In 2017 he joined Palo Foundation Medical Group (PAFMG) in Dublin, California. In addition to continuing his practice, this allowed him to fulfill another passion, medical device innovation. He currently has over 15 patents. In 2022 he relocated to Texas, to be closer to his family. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley at the School of Podiatric Medicine. The first school of podiatric medicine in the state of Texas.
He is a diplomate of the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery with dual certification in both foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) and has served on multiple boards within the organization, including the Surgical Skills Committee and the Annual Scientific Conference (ASC) planning committee.
