Dr. Dayton practices at Foot & Ankle Center of Iowa and Bunion Surgery Specialists. Dr. Dayton earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University and a Master of Science degree and doctor of podiatric medicine degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a residency at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Santa Clara, California. Dr. Dayton is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He has held multiple clinical and administrative appointments throughout his career and has served as section editor for the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery for the past eight years. He has co-authored many peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters and has presented numerous national and international lectures. Recently he published a textbook, Bunion Surgery: An Evidence-Based Approach.
